Dr. George N. Bakalis (Big B) is the Clinic Director of Prince William Chiropractic Clinic. Dr Bakalis is the leading expert in chiropractic has been practicing in the Northern Virginia area since 1985. He is the first Chiropractic physician named to the American College of Sports Medicine in Woodbridge. He has successfully treated a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions including sports medicine injuries, work injuries, and auto accidents.
Dr Bakalis played running back for the Wake Forest University varsity football and was a state finalist in track. He has been the team Chiropractic physician for the Washington Capitals (NHL) Hockey team, the official Chiropractor for both the New York Yankees and Washington National baseball organizations. He has also served as the team Chiropractic physician for the Wake Forest University (ACC) football team. Under his care, the team won three consecutive Bowl games.
In addition, Dr Bakalis is passionate in helping patients with a variety of pain conditions recover with spinal adjustments, low level laser treatments, physical therapy modalities, exercise and nutritional counseling. Dr Bakalis received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago Illinois, his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from National University, and his second Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland in College Park. Dr. Bakalis continues to attend medical seminars and conferences to stay current on the latest research and development in Chiropractic medicine and rehabilitation treatments. Dr. Bakalis is licensed by the Virginia State Board of Medicine.

Dr. Nick (Little B) is a legacy chiropractor, as he is the son of Dr. George Bakalis. He followed in his father’s professional footsteps, but chose Life University East in Atlanta as his doctoral alma mater. He received his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Public Health from Old Dominion University the year prior to attending Life University. Dr. Nick is licensed by the Virginia Sate Board of Medicine.
He holds a strong philosophical viewpoint of chiropractic and what that means for a more holistic and vitalistic healthcare system. Dr. Nick has a passion for treating athletes, having helped treat many athletes, treating the Wake Forest Football team (ACC) with his dad and helping the team win three Bowel Championship games in a row is one of his memorable achievements. The Bowl victories were the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Belk Bowl in Charlotte, and the Birmingham Bowl in Memphis.
He practices various techniques including Thompson, SOT, but favors manual diversified adjusting. Dr. Nick is passionate about promoting wellness and preventative care, he loves to help people in whatever way he can. He is currently working towards adding Activator Methods Technique to his list of masteries. He is a member of the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association since 2020. Dr. Nick continues to attend seminars and conference to stay current on the latest research and development in chiropractic and rehabilitation treatments and techniques.
He was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia going to both Woodbridge Middle and High schools. His girlfriend is also a practicing Chiropractor. Both being dog enthusiast, they hope on getting a dog soon. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, beach activities, fishing, hunting and watching sports, rooting for all the Washington teams, especially the Washington Capitals, and Manchester City F.C. (English premier League).
Dr. Black is originally from Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree from Liberty University where he also competed as a college athlete on the wrestling team. He earned his doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta. Dr. Black has over 10 years of clinical experience and is an expert in non-surgical biomechanical treatment of spinal, neck, back, extremity, auto injuries, as well as athletic injuries and sports medicine. Dr Black has a strong interest in helping our patients become healthier through his nutritional guidance.
In his free time, Dr. Black enjoys time with his wife, as well as sports training and weight lifting. Dr. Black truly cares about all his patients and gets great satisfaction helping them become pain free. His goal is to help his patents increase their quality of life with his drug free approach to health care. He has been with the Prince William Chiropractic team for over 10+ years.
Martha being our Clinical Coordinator, she provides oversight support to our whole team. She will help answer any administrative questions you may have. Her goal is to make your experience in our office as pleasant as possible! She has been working with Prince William Chiropractic Clinic since summer of 2022. She is also bilingual in English and Amharic. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and reading. She also loves to watch Sunday night football and cheering on her team (Washington commanders).
Stella has been with us for an amazing 11+ years! Stella feels it is important to make you feel your very best and give you the very best welcome when you enter our clinic. Growing up in school the motto was 'Ora et Labora', work and prayer has always been an important part of her life. Everything is easier to bear with a positive attitude and a grateful heart. When she is manning the front desk, she will help you with scheduling appointments, handle your new patient paperwork, processing co-pays, and familiarizing patients with our practices process and procedures all with a big smile and positive attitude!

Millie has been working with us for over a year, and has gained many skills. She will always greet you with a big smile and welcome when you walk in the office. All of our CA’s will help you with scheduling your visits, handle your new patient paperwork, orient you to our practice process and procedures, facilitate your visit co-payments. Millie is bilingual in Spanish and English. She comes from El Salvador roots, and was born here in Woodbridge. She’s currently pursuing a degree in nursing, and wants to become a registered nurse. When not in the office she can be found, exploring new foods and visiting friends.
Clarisa is a CA who is attending college to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine for large animals. All of our CA’s will help you with scheduling your visits, handle your new patient paperwork, orient you to our practice process and procedures, facilitate your visit co-payments. She has been working with us since 2020. In her free time, she enjoys reading and drawing.
