Misalignment within the spine can interfere with the communication that goes on between the nervous system and the digestive system. When chiropractic realigns the spine, it can help to improve the communication between the spine and the digestive system helping to restore balance to the body. Adjustments also help to decrease inflammation which can affect your digestive system. Chiropractors can also recommend lifestyle modifications like diet, exercise, and relaxation techniques as they treat from a whole body perspective. 


Increased Energy: There are several ways chiropractic can help you increase your energy levels. One of the main ones is helping to improve your sleep. Subluxations cause pain and discomfort due to the restrictions you have in your spine which can lead to tossing and turning all night or even the inability to fall asleep at all. When you get aligned, you are able to sleep better and that will give you more energy. Your mechanics are also improved when you are aligned so  one part of your body is not having to work harder than the other tiring your body out. Pain itself saps your mental and physical energy so decreasing your pain directly increases your energy. Chiropractors might also suggest diet changes, eating a healthy, balanced diet will also give you more energy. 


Improve Balance: Chiropractic can help your balance in a few different ways. The first is similar to how it can improve your digestion, by having your spine adjusted you are restoring the communication ability between your spine and your body. The exercises you are given are meant to help increase your strength which in turn helps to improve your balance as it is your muscles that hold you up. It should be noted that chiropractic can help to improve balance but the underlying cause should be evaluated and kept in mind.
