Dr. Nick G. Bakalis
Dr. Nick (Little B) is a legacy chiropractor, as he is the son of Dr. George Bakalis. He followed in his father’s professional footsteps, but chose Life University East in Atlanta as his doctoral alma mater. He received his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Public Health from Old Dominion University the year prior to attending Life University. Dr. Nick is Board Certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine
He holds a strong philosophical viewpoint of chiropractic and what that means for a more holistic and vitalistic healthcare system. Dr. Nick has a passion for treating athletes, having helped treat many athletes, treating the Wake Forest Football team (ACC) with his dad and helping the team win three Bowl Championship games in a row is one of his memorable achievements. The Bowl victories were the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Belk Bowl in Charlotte, and the Birmingham Bowl in Memphis.
He practices various techniques including Thompson, SOT, but favors manual diversified adjusting. Dr. Nick is passionate about promoting wellness and preventative care, he loves to help people in whatever way he can. He is currently working towards adding Activator Methods Technique to his list of masteries. He is a member of the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association since 2020. Dr. Nick continues to attend seminars and conference to stay current on the latest research and development in chiropractic and rehabilitation treatments and techniques.
He was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia going to both Woodbridge Middle and High schools. His girlfriend is also a practicing Chiropractor. Both being dog enthusiast, they hope on getting a dog soon. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, beach activities, fishing, hunting and watching sports, rooting for all the Washington teams, especially the Washington Capitals, and Manchester City F.C. (English premier League).
